2009 Challenge Project |

What does ‘outside the box’ mean? It means outside your box, outside your comfort zone. Never tried applique or different kinds of applique, now is the time to do that. Never tried paper piecing, do it now.
The challenge is to stitch a quilt in a technique that you have not tried before OR it could be to use fabrics you would never think of using. The idea is to learn from this challenge. One of the definitions of challenge is “a stimulating task or problem” or “to arouse or stimulate especially by presenting with difficulties”.
This quilt should be no larger than 30" x 30" and should be complete including quilting and binding. We will unveil the quilts at the November, 2009 luncheon and judging will take place.
If you need help with learning the technique you want to try, let me know and I will see what I can do to help.
If you have any questions, contact me through our website contact form or at 855-2087.
